Lunch & Learn: Author & Retired Lawman C.M. Wendelboe

January 17, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Lunch & Learn starts off 2018 with a popular western novelist. Hear C.M. Wendelboe, author of the “Spirit Road Mystery” series Wednesday, January 17 from 12 – 1 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). Wendelboe’s life story is every bit as thrilling as his novels, including time assisting federal and tribal law enforcement agencies during the 1970s American Indian Movement and a stint as sheriff’s deputy in Gillette, WY.

Now retired, Wendelboe pursues his true vocation as a writer. He lives within a morning’s drive of Lakota sacred sites Devils Tower and Bear Butte. The distance of geography and expanse of time has granted him an appreciation of Lakota culture that is reflected in the themes of his writing.

While lunch registration is closed at this time, feel free to bring a lunch and join us for this event.
