This year’s Spirit of Peace Award recipient is the Cornerstone Women and Children’s Shelter. Over many years, they have supported WAVI and the victims we serve in multiple ways. In the fall of 2017 when WAVI had the plumbing failure, the Cornerstone Women and Children’s Shelter was instrumental in making sure our shelter residents had temporary safe housing over the three week period WAVI’s plumbing was being fixed.
