If summer leaves you overheated and frazzled, find cool and calm at a yoga class at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street). Safely increase your flexibility and balance at Gentle Chair Yoga, Monday, July 2 and 16 from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. This class is suitable for people of all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions. Poses are done either seated on the chair or using the chair for extra support during standing bends and stretches.
Fans of traditional yoga will enjoy our regular community Yoga @ the Library class. Roll out your mat (or borrow one of ours) Monday, July 9 from 6 – 7 p.m. This is open to teens through adults.
Instructors from Sōl Yoga Collective provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.
