Blending traditional Native American flute with powerful vocals and driving guitar, an evening with the Cody Blackbird Band is not to be missed! Experience their unique, contemporary blues rock vibe and positive message Thursday, July 12, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs).

The Cody Blackbird Band won 2017 Native American Music Award’s Group of the Year. Their upcoming album “Time” is produced by Kenny Lee Lewis of The Steve Miller Band. The band has been featured on NBC, PBS, WGN, MSNBC, CNN and The New York Times.
