Truth in the News: Democracy and the Informed Citizen

What does it mean to be an informed citizen? Find out Tuesday, July 10 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). South Dakota journalists will come together for a panel discussion examining the critical role of Journalism and the power of humanities to increase understanding of local and national issues, and increase citizen engagement.

Truth in the News is co-sponsored by Democracy in Action, South Dakota Humanities Council and Rapid City Public Library.
