Jake Gyllenhaal and director Rene Russo and the rest of the cast of the new movie “Velvet Buzzsaw” with Hollywood Reporter recently and Gyllenhaal is very annoyed about Russo’s pronunciation skills.
Russo was describing a character when he went to use the word “melancholy” but the way he says it is enough to piss you off the same way it does to Gyllenhaal!
We’re not pronunciation experts so bear with us, he says “mel-ON-coly.”
Gyllenhaal is quick to point out that is NOT how to say the word to which Russo responds acting like he knows already that it annoys his pal Jake.
whether he knows he is wrong or not, we all know he is wrong and he needs to figure it out!
