Ever had a family member put in prison?
Well Dane Cook did and recently talked about it on the “Your Mom’s House” podcast.
Cook had hired his half brother to be his manager and handle his finances when, he eventually found out his brother was embezzling millions!
Honestly the whole story sounds like a movie, and not the kind Dane Cook would be in!
The whole ordeal ended up in court where Cook’s brother, a former corrections officer, became an inmate at the same prison Dane pulled him from to start working for him.
Eventually Cook got the forensics audit and found out exactly everything that happened to his money at the hands of his own brother. Police also found $800,000 hidden in the walls of his brother’s home!
Yeah, probably a good reason to send family to prison.
