It was supposed to be a fun halftime show where the crowd would enjoy watching a hot air balloon launch 200-feet into the air, tethered to the ground by a rope, with someone in it. Wow, what a show!
Who was supposed to be in the balloon? The mother of 11 year old Ricky Snyder, but there were issues with the balloon so mom hopped out and 11 year old Ricky decided jumped in. He had no idea what he was doing and he had no idea what was about to happen.
The rope keeping the balloon tethered to the ground snapped so up, up, and away little Ricky went!
