Woman’s Cactus Sprouts 25 Feet High, Over 30 Years After Planting

It’s not every day a new “landmark” sprouts in your front yard, but that’s what happened for this Georgia Woman and her cactus.

This real-life “Jack and the Beanstalk” scenario started 36 years ago when Jacki Flournoy planted a century plant, which blooms anytime within 20-40 years of planting.

Flournoy described the experience as it being “like waiting for Christmas.”
