That moment when you think you hit a home run only to have that ripped away from you in the smoothest way possible so you can’t really even be mad about it…Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres now knows the feeling all too well.
Tatis smoked the ball to center field and it looked like it was headed to home run territory. Seattle Mariners’ Julio Rodriguez chased after it, wet over the wall to try to catch it but turned, dejectedly put his arm down and walked back with his glove closed.
However, in a fantastic twist, he picked up his glove and opened it to reveal he did, in fact, have the ball!
