Yesterday the OKC Thunder partied in the streets of Oklahoma City as they celebrated their NBA Championship win and showed off the Larry O’Brien Trophy and boy, did the players really party.
While the parade was fun for all, including these reporters who were BEYOND excited (CLICK HERE), we’re not sure other players indulged in the festivities as much as Chet Holmgren.
As the youngest team in the NBA, the veteran players had to teach these young bucks how to even open the champagne bottles so it would make sense for them to be BOMBED for their first celebration. That’s why our boy Chet, as he gripped the trophy, grabbed the mic and stumbled through a silly little speech, other teammates had to swoop in and whisk the trophy away before he dropped it.
Of course, it’s all in good fun and once you clinch your first NBA ring, you deserve a tipsy tribute (or several)!
