A couple decided normal weddings are too grounded, so they got hitched mid-flight in the airplane aisle, complete with flowers, music, vows over the intercom, and a guestbook passed row-by-row.
Sure, that all also meant temporarily blocking one of the on-board restrooms and turning 136 unsuspecting passengers into unwilling wedding guests.
Some cheered, embraced it and even tried to catch the bouquet, but others joked it felt like a “wedding hostage situation.”
At least now we know that if you don’t want to rent out a venue, Southwest Airlines will get on board!
