The annual Crazy Horse Stampede Rodeo is held in mid- June at the Crazy Horse Memorial outdoor arena. The Stampede is one of the few rodeos to offer events sponsored by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), Women’s Professional Rodeo Association and the Great Plains Indian Rodeo Association (GPIRA) events.
Friday, June 17th- GPIRA – 9am Junior/Senior Events and Slack 2pm- Main Performance
Saturday, June 18th- PRCA- 2pm- Main Performance, Slack to follow
Sunday, June 19th- PRCA- 10am- Cowboy Church, 2pm- Main Performance (WEAR PINK)
Daily rodeo admission is $17 for adults (ages 12 and up), $6 for children (age 6-11) and free for children under 6 years of age. Tickets may be purchased at a reduced rate in advance by calling 605-673-4681 or visiting BH Central Reservations Website . Tickets are also available the day of at the rodeo gate at regular price. All tickets are general admission. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets and make a day of it!
Visitors interested in the art show and the Memorial: Admission to the Memorial for the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is $8 per person, $22 per car, $5 per person on a motorcycle.
