The Society of Physics Students will be hosting Pi Day events! 4:30pm in EEP 252, March 14, 2017, e.g. 3.14
ATTENDANCE IS FREE for SPECTATORS!!! Events will include… Pie the Professor: $1.00 Students, Faculty & Staff can purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to pie a professor. If you want to choose more than one professor you will have to purchase another ticket. Raffle tickets will be drawn a few days before the event. The winners will then be informed of their participation on Pi Day. Professors/advisors who are Pied will receive a portion of the total earnings of the raffle for a student organization of their choice. Remember, this is meant to be a FUN event for fundraising purposes and no disrespect to the professors/advisors is implied.
Pie Eating Contest: Participation is FREE, but seats are limited!!!
Students, Faculty and Staff can sign up for the chance to participate in a pie eating contest. Participants will be notified of their involvement before Pi Day. Prizes to be awarded to the winners.
This is a fun and messy event that always draws a crowd. Not to mention new media!
