Alpha Warrior Challenge, a new type of technical obstacle course that pushes participants mentally and physically, is coming to the Dakota’s Club on base Aug. 4 to 5.
Airmen and their families can test their skills on the obstacle course, or compete in the Air Force’s newest fitness initiative. Alpha Warrior athletes will be available to showcase the obstacles and answer any questions about the course and competition.
Noon – 1 p.m.: Athlete Autograph Signing at the Exchange
4 – 5:30 p.m.: Meet and Greet with Alpha Warrior athletes at the Dakota’s Club
The challenge is part of a larger program which includes a 15-region competition starting in September with the top male and female qualifiers from each region guaranteed to move on to compete in an Air Force-wide competition at the Alpha Warrior Challenge course in San Antonio in November.
The 10 male and 10 female competitors with the fastest times from across the Air Force will join the 30 regional champions for a total of 50 Air Force athletes earning a spot in the final competition.
