Agatha Christie’s “Crooked House” spins a twisted tale of suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a wealthy patriarch being investigated by Detective Charles Hayward, former fiancé of the late millionaire’s granddaughter. Friday, October 19 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs) journey with Hayward as she is lured into catching her grandfather’s murderer, and encounters a hostile family of three generations living in a truly crooked house.

Based on the mystery novel of the same name, Agatha Christie once said, “Writing ‘Crooked House’ was pure pleasure and I feel justified in my belief that it is one of my best.” Rated PG-13. Popcorn and beverages will be served.
