If you need a laugh this holiday season, look no further than our Book to Film Movie Night Friday, December 15 from 6:30 – 8:15 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). In “Scrooged,” a modern take on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” Bill Murray is haunted by three spirits sent to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. The spirits provide a glimpse into how Frank Cross (Murray) became so thoroughly rotten and remind us “That’s the one good thing about regret. It’s never too late. You can always change tomorrow if you want to.”
Popcorn and beverages will be served. Rated PG-13.
