The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Black Hills Home Builders Association will host a candidate forum for candidates running for city council and school board on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Black Hills State University – Rapid City, 4300 Cheyenne Blvd. Rapid City, SD.

Candidates competing for election will be offered an opportunity to present their ideas to the voters during opening comments.  Attendees will be given the opportunity to draft a question at the beginning of the forum that will then be asked by the forum moderator.

The forum is free and open to the public.  The Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Black Hills Home Builders Association strongly encourage citizens to attend this session to learn more about the candidates for public office.
