The public is invited to build a better relationship with law enforcement and share community policing concerns over a cup of coffee. Back by popular demand, the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its third annual event on the national Coffee with a Cop day. Join us from 6:30 – 9 am at Dunn Brothers, 405 Canal Street, Suite 1500 (the old Landstrom’s building).
Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for the public to ask questions, voice their concerns and build relationships with our Deputies. We enjoy the opportunity to visit with our community. Please come out and share a FREE cup of coffee with members of the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office in a warm, inviting setting.
The Coffee with a Cop program is a national initiative supported by the US Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. Similar events are being held across the country on Wednesday, as local law enforcement strive to make lasting connections with the communities they serve.
Let’s all join together and make the first Wednesday of October annually a day that brings national attention to show American law enforcement at its best building relationships, one cup at a time.
