If you love fine food, wine and distinctive brews, don’t miss the Forks, Corks and Kegs Food and Wine Festival, April 8th through the 10th in Historic Deadwood. Sample a variety of beer and wine from all across the country as well as Black Hills favorites as you make your way to various tasting venues across the town. You’ll learn techniques from a celebrity chef and how to recreate your favorite Deadwood delicacies.
ABOUT THE EVENT
In 1876, it wasn’t uncommon for fortune seekers to consume beverages with names like Deadwood Lightning, Red Eye and Coffin Varnish. They also choked down foods like squirrel, rabbit, mutton and goat.
Since then, fortune seekers continue to flock to Deadwood looking for good luck, great drinks and incredible food. We’re happy you can join us for the second annual Forks, Corks and Kegs Food and Wine Festival.

April 7th (Thursday) – Taste Of Home Cooking Show
The Taste of Home Cooking School is America’s leading cooking school program. Attendees will experience a two-hour demonstration of exciting recipes.

April 8th (Friday) – Celebrity Chef – TBD
5:30 p.m., doors open/show at 7 p.m. – Deadwood Mountain Grand
8 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Appetizer Crawl – After The Celebrity Chef’s performance, festival participants are given the opportunity to sample bite-sized masterpieces, each paired with a wine or beer sample, created by local chefs. Drop by their respective restaurants located throughout town during the Deadwood Appetizer Crawl.

April 9th (Saturday) – Deadwood Dine Around & Grand Tasting
11 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Deadwood Dine Around – Sit down at several different locations throughout the afternoon for the Deadwood Dine Around. Local chefs prepare samples of their favorite meals paired with wine, beer and cocktails.
4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Grand Tasting at Deadwood Mountain Grand – On Saturday evening, the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center will host A Grand Tasting. A Grand Tasting will feature dozens of top choices from participating wineries, breweries and restaurants, all in one location.
