This iconic community celebration was originally called Golden Jubilee, which started 1926. It was a two-day community festival celebrating the gold harvest of the mine. It was the most outstanding social event in the entire 50 years Since mining started in 1876. To present day, It has manifested into Gold Camp Jubilee Days, a four day 4th of July celebration featuring the largest firework display in South Dakota! Gold Camp Jubilee is the must-see event for the holiday and summer!
