Armchair travel with us to Yellowstone National Park’s wildest places in its harshest season. Wednesday, April 19 from noon – 1 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs), outdoor enthusiasts Clay Dykstra and John Williams will share the tale of their 135-mile, three-week ski journey as part of a film crew documenting the journey of renowned wildlife photographer Tom Murphy. Murphy embarked upon the same trek three decades earlier as a solo traveler with only a blue tarp as shelter.
The upcoming film “The Journey Through Yellowstone” documents Murphy’s journey, explores his life as a photographer and his philosophy about nature.
