A Gathering of People, Wind and Water is now Native POP: People of the Plains – A Gathering of Arts and Culture.
In it’s 5th year, this juried Native art show and cultural celebration, is a free annual event in the heart of downtown Rapid City at Main Street Square.

Native POP features original artwork for sale by established and emerging Great Plains Native artists and a full day of cultural performances on the stage at Main Street Square.

In addition to fine art market, Native POP is a cultural celebration with top Native performing artists and Native culture bearers sharing and demonstrating their cultural knowledge and artistry throughout the day. Native POP will also host their second annual fashion show and a Native film showcase.

The art show and market runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with performances and film screenings throughout the day and there will be a free concert from 6 to 8 p.m. to close out the event.
