Don’t miss all the fun this Independence Day in Custer with the Old Time Country Fourth Celebration July 1-4. Spend the holiday enjoying a Children’s Fair, Arts & Crafts Fair, live music, family games, parades, and fireworks!
Old Time Country Fair (Arts & Crafts)
July 1 – 4, 10 am – 6 pm: Arts & Crafts Fair located at the 1881 Courthouse Museum.
Children’s Fair at Way Park (free and open to the public)
July 3, 12 pm – 3 pm, and July 4, 11 am – 4 pm: Old-time games, live music, face painting, and more! Also, don’t miss Mr. Peanut on July 3 and 4 and Theodore Roosevelt on July 4!
Parades and Flag Ceremony (free and open to the public)
July 4, 10 am: Kids’ Parade to be followed by the Patriots’ Parade, downtown Custer. Flag-raising ceremony following the parade at 11 am at the Veterans Memorial on Washington & 5th Streets.
Fireworks (free and open to the public)
July 4: There will be a DJ playing music on Pageant Hill, 8th and Canal Streets, starting at 6 pm and continuing until the Custer Fire Department’s fireworks begin, around 9:30 pm.
