Join us at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs), Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and help celebrate the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss and Read Across America! Participate in our Dr. Seuss Read-In by reading for 30 minutes in the library and receive a Cat in the Hat hat! Express yourself on our Dr. Seuss wall and tell us what you will be reading today and how you celebrate diversity?    

Read Across America Day celebrates the many books that provide windows and mirrors into our diverse and complex society. Books help us understand that the world is far richer than just our experiences alone.
