Kamryn Schumacher was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor in May when she was 22 months old. The cancerous tumor, an anaplastic astrocytoma, requires aggressive treatment. Cells grow root-like connections into the area of brain around the tumor, making surgery more difficult. This more serious type of brain cancer is unusual for a child, though treatment is generally more successfully in children than in adults. The tumors are also targeted with ongoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

All monies donated will be given to Kamryn’s family to help with expenses.

The event will be on Sunday October 2, 2016 from 11 am to 3 pm. All riders and drivers please be at M & L ATV Rentals at 10:30 am to go over route (if you have your own machine you can meet at Recreational Springs or M & L ATV Rentals). We will leave at 11 am sharp from M & L ATV Rentals. We will meet at M & L ATV Rentals 395 Glendale Drive Highway 14-A Lead SD. From there we will go to Recreational Springs then down Spearfish Canyon to view all the beautiful colors. We will turn around at parking lot at the mouth of the canyon. From there we will head back down the canyon, at this point you are free to take the trails you wish to take or continue following M & L ATV rentals to Hanna then trails from there.

All the above businesses have come together and are going to raise money for Kamryn. $50.00 per seat to ride in one of the businesses ATVs (limited seats available) or $30.00 per your own ATV. All monies donated and raised will be given to the family to help with medical expenses and other expenses.

VFW Deadwood is having a spaghetti dinner from 5 pm to 7 pm. All donations will be donated to family. Open to public. We will have a balloon release at 5:30 pm at VFW Deadwood.
