Downtown Rapid City will celebrate Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 29, in collaboration between Downtown businesses and Main Street Square. Scare in the Square will offer tons of ghostly family fun at Main Street Square, then visit participating Downtown businesses for Downtown Trick-or-Treat from 1 to 3 p.m.
Both events are free. Children and parents are encouraged to wear costumes, bring their own trick-or-treat bags and meet at Main Street Square, where they may pick up a map of participating Downtown businesses. Downtown motorists are asked to be aware of trick-or-treaters throughout the day.
Vendors
Vendor applications are now available. Organizations that provide a children’s activity or handout are eligible vendors for Scare in the Square. Please review the Vendor Rules & Regulations form below for vendor requirements.
