What is being? What makes life? Which is better: dogs or cats?  These are some of the questions we asked ourselves in November. Plan to join this inquisitive, open and playful group Sunday, December 11 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). Dr. Timothy Martinez, professor of political science at Black Hills State University returns to lead our second Socrates Café. Add your voice to the ongoing conversation as we seek to explore different ideas, assumptions and perspectives. Our Socrates Café gathering is based on the book, “Socrates Café: A Fresh Taste of Philosophy” by Christopher Phillips.
