“Here’s to the fools who dream.” “La La Land” created a sensation this past year. See it on our big screen Friday, July 14 from 6:30 – 8:40 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). A jazz pianist falls for an aspiring actress in Los Angeles. The 2016 film stars Academy Award nominee Ryan Gosling and Academy Award winner for Best Actress Emma Stone. Director Damien Chazelle won the Academy Award for Best Director, making him the youngest ever to win the award.
