Fall is finally here which mean the Club for Boys family nights are back!
“Family nights are full of fun and laughter for every member of our boy’s family,” explained Chantel McDonnell, Director of Special Projects. “We offer a night for the family to spend time together playing a wide variety of games and activities as well as eating a nice meal together and sometimes winning fun prizes. Family time is important to our organization and we are happy to offer this opportunity to our members and their families.”
The Club for Boys hosts family nights once a month, except November and December due to holiday months. A different theme is picked for each family night. Themes vary from Superbowl, Medieval and Halloween. In 2017, Halloween was the largest family night, and over 500 people attended in fun costumes.
Family nights are held from 5:30pm to 8:00pm on the last Friday of each month during the school year. Staff and volunteers look forward to these events every year because they get to meet many families for the first time.
The Club for Boys September Family Night takes place this Friday, September 28th! The theme for this event is an open house for families to come down and meet new staff and see what their boys are doing throughout the days. Each room will be hosting their favorite fall activities. In junction with our open house theme, out live drawing for our Annual Car Raffle will be taking place. This year the winner of the Raffle will receive a 3-year lease on a New 2018 Nissan Rogue or $10,000 cash!
