Indian Arts & Craft Board Chief Curator Conor McMahon will present on the life and times of Benjamin Black Elk, often referred to as the “fifth face of Mount Rushmore”. Black Elk was known for posing for photos with visitors at Mount Rushmore and making it his mission to educate others about Lakota culture and traditions.
Feed your mind and your belly! Every Turtle Soup features a presentation on historic figures who influenced Black Hills history and includes soup from Angel’s Catering. Turtle Soups are included in a regular admission to the museum or are 1/2 off for members.
