If only people in 1962 knew what we know now, some of them may not have given such stupid answers when asked if they believe in life on other planets.
Sure, we’re not the smartest bunch of idiots and we’re lucky to have the internet but when someone asks you a question like that and your response is just “No, I’m..uh..German” you’re not doing much for yourself there are you?
One guy even said he thinks life on other planets would look like “a vegetable.”
Then there is one lady who we can only assume may be on drugs when she talks about how she fully believes in life on other planets.
Another lady, honestly kind of seems to know her stuff, key word: “kinda.”
She probably looked up a book about space and just sprinkled in the word “atmosphere” when she could.
Either way, we’re sure people will look back on us debating things like science and life and think we’re pretty dumb too so…in about 56 years or so (math is still debatable on that) we’ll probably all be dead like these people so who cares!?
