Recently during the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers Steph Curry went for either a dunk or layup or something but slipped before he could get there.
Curry stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden to relive and explain the infamous slip and ball!
He goes on to try to come up with any excuse for the moment including blaming the NHL team they share the arena with!
“The LA Kings had a game right before us and they must not have put the floor back on top of the ice all the way…” Curry said.
Fellow guest Ron Funchess was quick to call him out on that one, though, when he brought up how it did not explain the subsequent air ball attempt at a three-pointer.
At least Curry is learning to laugh at his failures! Trust us, Steph, it gets easier and easier until someday you’re naked on a billboard…
