As folks everywhere were gearing up for the “unofficial” last weekend of the summer, we also had to say “see you later” to the man who was like sunshine personified, Jimmy Buffett.
This past Friday, September 1st, Buffett passed away in his home at the age of 76, surrounded by family, friends, music, and dogs. He’d been battling a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer called Merkel cell carcinoma for about four years.
Use this as your reminder, if Jimmy Buffett can’t beat the negative effects of too much sun, neither can you. Don’t forget your SPF.
