This Fort Pierce, Florida police officer was suspended for 20 days without pay after letting this young couple make out and smoke in his patrol car after being arrested for shoplifting.
Not only did he keep them in the back of the squad car unrestrained, body cam footage shows they were allowed to smoke (not hard to guess what) and even canoodle as the officer played “Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love” by Barry White.
He also took the couple to the hospital, again unrestrained, without letting dispatch know what was going on.
Maybe he was just trying to be the cool, hip cop for the youngins and just give them a nice arrest experience. Can’t get those five stars on Yelp with sub-par service!
