Dance the afternoon away at the 9th annual Senior Citizen Prom, which will be from 1 to 4 p.m. April 27 at Minneluzahan Senior Citizen Center, 315 N. 4th St., in Rapid City.
The theme is “Speakeasy – Black Tie,” with live music by Dakota Blend and musicians from Central and Stevens High Schools.
The Senior Citizen Prom is an event to build intergenerational relationships in a fun, social environment. Every year, a committee of about 20 to 25 young people volunteer to plan, set up, host, decorate, serve and clean up at the Senior Citizen Prom. The event is sponsored by Black Hills Psychology.
