In a world where information and opinions abound, how can we sift through and thoughtfully consider it all? Engage in meaningful conversation and playful debate on Sunday, January 29 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). Dr. Timothy Martinez, professor of political science at Black Hills State University returns to lead our third Socrates Café. Add your voice to the ongoing conversation as we seek to explore different ideas, assumptions and perspectives. Our Socrates Café gathering is based on the book, “Socrates Café: A Fresh Taste of Philosophy” by Christopher Phillips.
