The Association of Fundraising Professionals – South Dakota Chapter (AFP-SD) is continuing its Western South Dakota monthly programming with a September 19th program titled, “It’s the Donor, Not the Money.”
The presenter, Connie Olson, CFRE is the Development Director at Youth & Family Services. She will share how fundraising should focus on the hearts, minds, and values of donors. Fundraisers play an essential role in connecting donors with charitable causes that help them accomplish goals related to these values. This program will provide insight into why this perspective is important and how you can be a catalyst in helping donors achieve their charitable objectives.
The presentation will be held from 11:30am – 1:00pm at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn, 505 North Fifth Street, Rapid City, SD. AFP-SD members attend the function at no charge by pre-registering online at www.southdakotaafp.org. Non-members are welcomed and encouraged to attend for $15 by pre-registering and pre-paying online at www.southdakotaafp.org.Registration deadline is 12:00 noon on Monday, September 17th. Meals and beverages may be ordered off a set menu and paid by attendee. No outside food or beverage allowed.
