This is yet another example of a really, really stupid criminal. This man stole a car and lead police on a high speed chase, in which police cars and helicopters were chasing him. Feeling scared and since he’s really stupid, he decided to call 911 and told the operator to tell them to stop chasing him because he felt like he was going to crash.
The driver drove down three separate highways, which obviously was a danger to other drivers. Eventually, the man crashed the stolen SUV into another car and continued to run on foot. Somehow, the police let the guy get away, and they are still looking for him.
How a stupid criminal managed to evade police and a police chopper on foot is such a mystery, which speaks to the ability of these police as well.
