Woman Confronts Starbucks Employee Who Stole Her Credit Card (Video)

It seems like we can’t go a day without seeing a news story about a new credit card scam.  Whether it’s a massive one like the Target breach from a while back or just simple credit card skimmers at the local gas station, we definitely live in an age where, if you’re not careful, your identity can be stolen in the blink of an eye.  But no one would suspect a 19-year-old Starbucks employee of stealing credit card information, right?  Well, you can never be too careful.

After going to a Starbucks for a cup of coffee, this woman noticed $212 of charges to her credit card that she DID NOT make at a local grocery store.  After reviewing the store’s security tapes, she recognized the girl making the purchases as an employee of the Starbucks she was at earlier.  While she was paying for her drink, she says that the employee said she had to go get receipt paper for the cash register.  What she was actually doing was skimming the card information so she could use it.

The credit card theft victim called the cops and told them where the thief worked.  Then, she took another trip through the Starbucks drive thru just to give the employee a heads up that the cops were on their way!  Justice!
