There’s nothing more annoying than a flight delay. You’re completely helpless and at the whim of the airlines. The only thing that could possibly make it worse is if there’s no reason given for the delay.
Recently a Ryanair from Glasgow to Dublin was stuck on the runway for eight hours. EIGHT HOURS! As if that wasn’t bad enough, little explanation was given for the delay. But when it was finally announced that they would be taking off soon, the flight attendant used a very poor choice of words. She said, “The captain cannot take off when we have ice on the wings, and we don’t want to die.” The reaction by passengers were all over the place. Some laughed, some yelled and one guy dropped a massive f-bomb.
Ryanair said that they were going to have a stern talking to with this flight attendant, and for their inconvenience, passengers were offered a $7 food voucher. Well that sure makes up for it!
