Generally speaking, people who own reptiles as pets are a problem. Case in point: this guy kept an alligator in his basement for 26 years. Charles Price kept the 200-pound beast in a cage, occasionally letting it outside for some exercise. In 26 years, not a single neighbor or guest noticed that he had it. Only just recently, a repairman working in his basement heard some commotion coming from a covered cage, where he discovered the six-foot-long reptile. He took some pictures of it and contacted animal control.
