Donald Trump has come under fire for many things, including his determination to build a wall along the Mexican-American border, and also his claims of being a Christian. The Pope, of all people, took the initiative to denounce Trump on both topics, causing an angry response from Trump.
The Pope said, “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian.” Trump responded by saying that when (not if) ISIS attacks the Vatican, The Pope’s gonna be really sorry because Trump would have just eliminated all of ISIS in the first place. He also said that judgment from the Pope on his religious faith is just disgraceful.
