Opera Singer Covers AC/DC’s ‘Highway To Hell’ On ‘Spain’s Got Talent’ (Video)

A Spanish Opera singer named Cristina Ramos was performing on Spain’s Got Talent recently and her performance has gone viral.

In the clip below, you’ll see Ramos walk on stage where she is interviewed quickly by the judges in the exact same way as the American version of the show.  When she begins to perform her aria, the judges appear to be pretty impressed by her talent.  But then, it appears as though there is a malfunction with the sound system, causing everyone to believe that there is some kind of technical difficulty.  Nope!  It’s all part of the act!

At around the 1:20 mark of the video, you’ll see the look of confusion on Ramos’ face, followed quickly by the unmistakable opening riff to the AC/DC classic, “Highway to Hell.”  In an instant, Ramos rips off the bottom part of her dress and begins performing the song in impressive rock chick manor!  The place was stunned, the judges applauded and the crowd rose to their feet and cheered.

Just another great example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover!
