A man in San Diego has pleaded guilty to four charges of reckless driving, one for illegal exhibition of speed and one for failure to get a permit for a special event after a video he posted back in January went viral. In the video, he drove his souped up Volkswagen Beetle recklessly through the streets of San Diego, driving on the shoulder, on sidewalks and jumping overpasses. This would be fine if he had simply gotten a permit and let the authorities know in advance, but he didn’t. He’s now going to spend nearly two months in jail for his little stunt.
