Bomani Jones Wore A ‘Caucasians’ Shirt On ESPN (Video)

You don’t have to be a sports fan to be aware of the controversy revolving around the WashingtonRedskins and Cleveland Indians. Many people say that the names are insensitive and should be changed, while others say that it’s just a name and doesn’t matter. To challenge the latter, Bomani Jones wore a “Caucasians” shirt on ESPN’s Mike and Mike yesterday.

The shirt, which you can see in the video below, is a parody of the Cleveland Indians logo.  Jones claimed that if it seemed weird to you to have “Caucasians” as a sports team, then you also have to have a problem with Indians and Redskins.  It raised an interesting point and started a discussion on the topic.  But at this point, it seems like neither side is likely to change the other’s opinion anytime soon!
