High School Students In Montana Protesting A Requirement To Wear Undergarments (Video)

Should it be a requirement to wear underwear?  Of course not!  And a group of high school students in Helena, Montana agree with that.

Kaitlyn Juvik, a senior at Helena High School, was called to the office recently because of a dress code violation.  Juvik says that she was told by Principal Steve Thennis that someone else in the school was uncomfortable with how she was dressed, and told her that she needed to cover up or put on a bra.  Juvik admits that she was not wearing a bra, but that she was completely covered up.  Thennis denies that he told Juvik to wear a bra and said that the school does not require undergarments to be worn and will not start checking students to make sure they are wearing them.

Basically, it seems like there’s just a misunderstand somewhere.  But that didn’t stop students from protesting, which included a “No Bra, No Problem” Facebook page and male students wearing bras on the outside of their clothes in solidarity.  Yeah, that’ll solve the problem!
