If you’re in front of a judge at a bond hearing, well, it’s obvious that you probably haven’t made some good decisions recently. So we stress to you that it’s probably not a good idea to do what Michael Ray did when appearing in front of a Jefferson County judge.
Ray’s bond hearing for four charges seemed pretty typical, but when he heard that his bond was set at $25,000, he was not pleased. He snapped at the judge, then threatened her and other court employees, saying that he would track them down out on the streets. This didn’t sit well with the judge, the bond was increased, the charges increased and Mr. Ray will be spending a little time behind bars. Was it worth it, bro?
