Actors and actresses are seen as the cream of the crop when it comes professions. Denzel Washington is one of the best actors of our time and he had a very serious response to someone’s statement. While discussing how easy or hard some of his past jobs were, Washington stated that making a movie was easy and nothing compared to sending a child off to Iraq. He said that making a movie pales in comparison to having to deal with the death of a son due to war. Damn right.
He really showed just how skewed America’s view is of the movie industry is compared to other jobs. Well put.
