New York Mets infielder Wilmer Flores had to leave the game against the Astros on Saturday after he fouled a ball off his own face. He swung at an inside pitch and the ball bounced off the bat and hit him square in the nose. Flores is going to be okay and might even be back in the lineup today, but damn! It’s bad enough that players have to worry about getting hit by a pitch, let alone by a foul tip off their own bat!
